EHS:–
Preparation of safety guidelines for PPE’s and ensure that these are followed on shopfloor.
Preparation and implementation of HIRA, SOP, EMS Aspects & Impacts, Toolbox talk on shop floor.
Ensure all MSDS are displayed and followed where chemicals are available.
Identifying High risk activities and implementing CAPA.
Ensure Consistency in Identifying the Risks & hazards in workstation areas.
Periodic shop rounds and proactively Capture Unsafe Acts/Unsafe Conditions and ensure effective closures within timeline.
Motivate employees including contractors to proactively report Unsafe acts, Unsafe Conditions, Near miss, First Aid case & Incidents.
Weekly review of reported Unsafe Acts & Unsafe Conditions by my team in safety register and facilitate for timely closures.
Review, update and prepare all relevant EHS documents for Manufacturing for complying with ISO:45001, ISO:14001 requirements.
Observations/NCs reported in External and Internal EHS audits related to Manufacturing to be timely closed.
Identification, segregation, disposal, and documentation of hazardous waste generated during manufacturing process.
Ensure participation in EHS meeting and timely compliance of observations.
Product quality assurance: –
Pre-Manufacturing Preparation (Kick off meeting).
Participating in the root cause analysis for the NC’s reported and making A3,8D analysis and implementing the corrective and preventive actions. (NCR CAPA (A3/8D).)
Monitoring and development of competency, skill within team and Identifying training needs as per gaps.
Relevant Technical Training is imparted for all employees.
Timely feedback sharing for improvement to Quality & design during manufacturing / after completion of job.
Ensuring qualification and certification of employees for special processes as per TPD / customer requirement.
Handling & smooth coordination of customer inspections at shopfloor as approved QAP.
Work instruction / TPD (TMR) /Shop Floor asset limitation updating.
Ensure availability of right quality material at shop floor.
Ensure work carried out is as per Quality norms, QAP and availability of latest updated TPD documents.
Review, update and prepare all relevant QMS documents for Manufacturing for complying with ISO:9001 requirements.
Productivity monitoring: –
Loading the work station as per production plan
Daily reporting of manhours in SAP and DPR system
Plan Vs actual man-machine hrs for each work order & generating feedback with analysis .
Planning:–
Preparing manufacturing plan for shopfloor .
Identifying areas for improvement and making training plan for the same.
Attending Daily “Sunrise Meeting” and plan manufacturing activities in advance to meet the delivery schedules.
Active Participate in “Weekly production plan review” and update plan manufacturing activities in advance to meet the delivery schedules.
Co-ordinate with internal customers to achieve FAT schedule.
General points: –
Maintenance /Departmental administration coordination.
Assisting in plant expansion Projects
QMS/EMS and Process audit and implementing and closing of findings.

Degree / Diploma in Mechanical /Electrical Engineering
2-4 years of experience
