The role
As a senior actuarial analyst within the rads team you will consult on a wide variety of
Complex projects involving the contracting, pricing, and financial modeling of a full array of value-
Based care programs, for both providers and insurersYou will also be a key contributor to the
Development of intellectual capital through modelling expertise in both the radar software suite and
Emblem predictive modelling softwareYou will serve as the senior analyst with technical expertise on
Data and modeling, create client deliverables, contribute to client management, and participate in the
Creation of new intellectual capital.
As a senior analyst with our firm you can expect to gain exposure to the financial considerations of
Provider health systems and health insurance companies.
The responsibilities
Contribute to consulting projects for provider health systems and insurer clients and development of
Intellectual capital involving healthcare claims data warehousing for commercial and medicare claims
Data that serve the broader health and benefits business.
Meet revenue and billable hour goals established with your manager
Directly contribute to clients’ success through applying your technical expertise such as
Fee schedule repricing, provider risk contracts, captive modelling, reinsurance modelling,
And reserves
Deliver superior, consistent deliverables in support of a project manager for assigned
Clients:
Support development of project plans and budgets
Monitor work against project budget and timelines while anticipating and
Communicating issues
Effectively use resources to meet agreed deadlines and targets in client work.
Assume ownership of quality of work prior to submission to project manager
Demonstrate an ability to increase level of responsibility on various assignments
When appropriate, taking a first pass at selecting assumptions, developing excel workbooks, etc.
Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams as a team player
Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels
The requirements
2-5 years of experience and success in healthcare claims data management, and financial management gained in a consulting or insurer environment ·
Experience with claims-based analytics strongly desired
Predictive modeling expertise desired ·
Strong interpersonal and team skills
Well organized and detail oriented ·
Polished and well developed oral and written communication skills
Strong client service orientation and ability to respond to all communications effectively and in a timely manner
Self-starter attitude and ability to work independently
Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues
Strong analytical and creative skills ·
Advanced knowledge of excel required, working knowledge of powerpoint and word recommended; excellent sql and/or sas programming required
Availability to travel on an as needed basis

Compensation
The annual salary compensation range being offered for this role is $80,000-$150,000
This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
