Major duties and responsibilities:
As a senior leader in the organization, the ideal candidate will have previous experience in business relationship management and brm foundations principles and techniques.
Day-to-day the business relationship management administrator:
Leads a team of eight business relationship managers (brms) across twelve lines of business within the ohio department of job and family services.
Guides brms as they work with their business partners to stimulate, surface and shape business demand for maximized value.
Identifies and escalates risks, issues or business concerns to executive leadership.
Provides assistance to team members to determine solutions to meet their business partner needs.
Ensures procurements are taken through it governance when appropriate.
Plays a key role in change management.
Serves on governance committees.
Helps formulate technology policy and procedures.
Advises executive leadership.
Supervises assigned staff (e.g., assigns work and provides direction; makes recommendations for hire; reviews work and provides feedback; establishes employee goals; conducts performance evaluations; monitors and evaluates staff performance; approves/disapproves requests for leave; recommends disciplinary action; conducts staff meetings; encourages staff development).
Performs other related duties as assigned (e.g., travels to attend meetings, conferences, and workshops; makes presentations; consults with program/policy staff on developing new procedures/policies; updates knowledge of technology products and solutions; participates in industry and other professional networks to ensure awareness of industry standards, trends, innovations, and best practices; operates personal computer to produce correspondence, reports, and other documents; maintains logs, records, and files).
Qualifications
The following are the minimum qualifications for this positionFor further consideration, applicants must clearly identify how qualifications are met within the education and/or experience sections of the application.
The ideal candidate, at minimum, must have the following:
Option 1:
Completion of undergraduate core program coursework in information technology, electrical engineering or telecommunications
And
5 yrsExpIn information systems analysis, design & operations
And
18 mosExpIn project/program management
And
2 courses or 6 mosExpIn budgeting
Option 2:
12 mosExpAs information technology consultant 2, 64162.
Or the equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
Major worker characteristics:
Knowledge of:
(01) information systems which includes architecture and principles, networking operation systems and protocols, and network monitoring and capacity planning techniques; (02) information systems analysis and design; (03) high-level information systems language, information systems, and software development; (04*) information systems acquisition procedures and fiscal controls; (05) budgeting; (06) project and program management
Skill in:
(07) operation of personal computer and applicable software applications.
Ability to:
(08) deal with many variables and determine specific action; (09) read and interpret extensive variety of technical information systems material; (10) communicate verbally or in writing on technical and non-technical matters.
